Testing Application Data Update Impact
Sometimes, a developer (programmer, tester) needs to test an
application or a process that may change many database tables.
Determining which tables were modified and how they were modified
is a demanding task.
Comparenicus simplifies this scenario by allowing a user to select
a group of tables, create a 'snapshot' of each, and easily detect
modifications following the execution of the process.
The user may also restore the test scenario data by copying the
'snapshot' back to the original table.
Step 5: Restore Test Data
If you want to repeat your test (say, after fixing your code),
copy your snapshot data back to your 'work' tables.
